About Us – Dalemain House
Dalemain House is a converted Victorian detached house in Birkdale, Southport. The Home is situated ideally near Birkdale village where shopping and a hot cup of coffee can be enjoyed, it is also close to Victoria Park which is where the annual Flower Show is held; Southport’s main shopping street, Lord Street, is within a walking distance of the Home and the restful sea front is a short distance away.
Dalemain House has been a residential care home for almost thirty years and has evolved into a quality home for our residents. The Home has enjoyed 5 star local authority accreditation for a number of years.

The Home’s accommodation is on 3 levels.
There is a quiet, spacious landing area for reading and quiet reflection or you could take pleasure in the activities offered daily by our care staff and activities worker.
To achieve our high standards in providing care for the elderly, all staff are highly trained and attain and hold relevant career qualifications. Ongoing career training is actively encouraged by the management team.
The Home is registered by the local authority for 24 permanent or respite residents and is also suitable for holidays for elderly clients. We also provide day care for 2 to 3 people.
